Congratulations to Sportgirl who recently took top gong for ‘Most Innovative Online Retailer’ at the ORIAs (Online Retail Industry Awards). As one of the largest and biggest retail brands in Australia, Sportsgirl has pioneered the eCommerce frontier and triumphed as the ‘one to watch’ on the Australian fashion retail landscape. On the back of a major digital launch in 2009, Sportsgirl cover the digital gamut when it comes to engaging customers and enabling path to purchase. The Sportsgirl website features an integrated online store with 'get the look' tools, a Virtual Style Studio, and a plethora of social features including blog, forums, street snaps, and social media feeds. The site is updated with each seasonal campaign update, and weaves rich multi-media content throughout, including video campaigns and SportsGirl TV (SGTV). The bricks and mortar to digital relationship is enhanced with QR code in store activation, weekly emails that drive both online and instore sales, and a direct link between in store VM and online store creative. In 2010 Sportsgirl championed M-commerce with the 2010 launch of first fashion retailer dedicated mobile e-commerce store in Australia.
