Day 7: Removing the Colander, with one L.
It was a fitful Sunday night’s sleep for Brew Master Jon, whose dreams were awash with visions of the brew gone bad. He had left the brew all on its lonesome over the weekend, all manner of things could have gone wrong! Happily, his neurosis was undue, and Monday revealed our brew sitting satisfactorily on track and peacefully awaiting the arrival of its Master into work.
After brekkie, our sleeping beauty is gently roused by Holly and John who checks the vital signs - froth: down, temperate: stable. It is decided that the brew is ready to hop into the next chapter in its fermenty life: The De-Colandering!*
A lid-like plastic ring, said colander is removed, washed, and well, that's it. Now, the brew is to be left alone to get its ferment on a little bit further until its reaches its optimal gravitational force-field**. When that happens, the real action starts! Stay tuned...
